KEYNOTE 3 04:00 PM

What is Your Superpower?

ABOUT THIS SESSION

What is your superpower? How did you discover it? And what happens if you build a life around it? This keynote will explore life's journeys—why we choose certain paths and avoid others. It will delve into what happens when we nurture our private passions and how they give back to us tenfold. In short, it is about profound joy—the kind you don’t talk about, because it is intimate, but also because it defines you. And perhaps, it is your greatest gift.

SPEAKER(S)

Mr Sanjit Manku

Architect and Co-Founder, Studio Jouin Manku

Sanjit Manku is an architect, born in Nairobi, Kenya, in 1971. He spent his childhood in Ontario, Canada, where he later studied architecture at Carleton University. After earning his degree, he established his own studio before joining the renowned Canadian design firm Yabu Pushelberg, where he worked for five years. A year-long sabbatical in Europe led him to Paris in 2001, where he met product designer Patrick Jouin. Five years later, the two founded the Parisian design studio Jouin Manku. Sanjit Manku sees the spaces that he designs as gifts to their inhabitants, only truly realized when they come to life with movement and engagement, as settings for other people’s lives.
