This panel discussion will provide a unique opportunity to reflect on YTL’s journey from its early days to its current standing as a global conglomerate, offering valuable lessons for today’s leaders. Featuring some of the company’s longest-serving employees, participants will hear first-hand stories about the company’s formative years, the challenges faced, and the values that shaped its success. The session will also focus on how these founding values—hardwork, honesty, moral responsibility, togetherness and vitality—remain relevant today. This panel discussion is ideal for leaders seeking inspiration from YTL’s past to shape its future, ensuring that the company’s legacy endures for the next 70 years. This session will be moderated by Yeoh Pei Tsen, Director, YTL Construction.

Ms Yeoh Pei Tsen

Director, YTL Construction

Ms Yeoh Pei Tsen is an Executive Director in the Construction division of the YTL Group. Prior to joining YTL, she worked in Neri and Hu Design and Research Studio in London and Shanghai. Today she leads the Design Group in the design and implementation of a range of projects, including masterplans, infrastructure, property development, hotels, and resorts. Aside from design, she is passionate about organisational culture, talent management and technology and is involved in driving the digital and cultural transformation initiatives in YTL Construction.

Dato' Raja Wahid Bin Raja Kamaral Zaman

Deputy Chairman, Seri Yakin Sdn Bhd

YM Raja Dato' Wahid Bin Dyam Raja Kamaral Zaman is the Vice Chairman of Seri Yakin Sdn Bhd. He first joined YTL in 1974 as a Quantity Surveyor in YTL Construction. He helped form Seri Yakin Sdn Bhd in 1976 as a G7 class A Bumiputera Contractor. He holds a Diploma in Quantity Survey from Institut Teknologi Kebangsaan.

Mr Baldip Singh

Executive Director, YTL Construction

Baldip has been an architecture pioneer in YTL for an extraordinary 32 years. He led hallmark projects such as Pangkor Laut Resort for YTL Construction in his long service He is currently an Executive Director, overseeing the YTL UK Developments.

Mr Meau Kon Lee

Advisor, YTL Construction

Lee Meau Kon is Advisor (M&E) of Syarikat Pembenaan Yeoh Tiong Lay Sdn Bhd. He is a Member of The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia and is a registered Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate with the Board of Engineers Malaysia. He obtained his Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Malaya in 1973. He joined Syarikat Pembenaan Yeoh Tiong Lay Sdn Bhd in 1987 as a Senior Manager (M&E Dept) and was promoted to Head of Department (M&E) from 1992. He left briefly from 1995 to 1999 to join Ranhill Bersekutu Sdn Bhd as Director, Building Division. He rejoined Syarikat Pembenaan Yeoh Tiong Lay Sdn in 1999 as Project Director (M&E) and was redesignated as Advisor (M&E) in 2013. His professional skill and experience in Building Services includes design and implementation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems for residential and commercial buildings.
