From the onset, YTL has been a pioneering force in Malaysia's technological landscape. It launched the country's first full-fledged 4G LTE network, introducing innovative features like Voice over LTE (VoLTE) for high-definition calls and combined data and voice services under a single subscription model. Today as a key player for 5G technology, the company is significantly enhancing mobile internet connectivity, enabling faster speeds and lower latency for diverse applications to support Malaysia's digital transformation. With a focus on accessibility for all, YTL's strategic investments in infrastructure—spanning transportation, power, cement production, and digital services—not only bolster the nation’s economic framework but also enhance the quality of life for its citizens, paving the way for a more connected and sustainable future.

Mr Wing K Lee

Chief Executive Officer, YTL Communications Sdn Bhd

Wing is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and MIT. As CEO of YTL Communications, he led the development of Malaysia’s largest all-4G, all-IP network and, in 2021, the country’s first nationwide 5G launch. Prior to YTL, Wing spent over 17 years in the United States, where he held leadership roles in pioneering the first nationwide fibre optics network, wireless data network, and commercial 4G network. He was recognised as “Asian American Engineer of the Year” during the 2002 US National Engineers Week and holds 33 US patents, along with patents in Singapore and South Korea.

Mr Jacob Yeoh Keong Yeow

Deputy Chief Executive Officer, YTL Communications Sdn Bhd

Jacob Yeoh is a graduate of Imperial College London, UK, where he earned a Master of Engineering in Electrical & Electronic Engineering with Management. He is also an Associate of the City and Guilds of London Institute. Currently, Jacob serves as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of YTL Communications Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of YTL Power International Berhad and the telecommunications arm of YTL Corporation Berhad Group in Malaysia. He is responsible for driving growth in the enterprise segment of Yes, the company’s 5G mobile brand. Jacob also works closely with both local and international Corporation to create innovative products and services on the Yes 5G network, with a particular focus on the Internet of Things (IoT) sector. In addition to his role at YTL Communications, Jacob is the Executive Director of YTL e-Solutions Berhad, Syarikat Pembenaan Yeoh Tiong Lay Sdn Bhd, and YTL Power Generation Sdn Bhd.

Chief Marketing Officer, YTL Communications Sdn Bhd

Keong Ren Yeoh is a proven leader as the Chief Marketing Officer at YTL Communications, as well as Director in the Managing Director's Office at YTL Power International. As CMO, he oversees strategic marketing initiatives to strengthen YTL Communications' brand and market reach - while also providing executive oversight on key projects and strategic initiatives as Director within YTL Power. Together, his efforts reflect an enduring and evergrowing commitment to advancing YTL’s vision of Building The Right Thing.
